Transfer to Veracruz

Email from Jaden 10/25/2016:

"Hey everyone! Well I've got news..I'm no longer in San Blas (Kunayala). I got changes and will now be in an area that's part of the Panama City zone called Veracruz. Not only that, but I will be opening an area, being a district leader, and training a latino. I'm actually in the church offices right now typing this up while I wait for his arrival. I didn't have the chance to write yesterday between traveling, packing, and getting stuck in the AP's house without someone who couldn't leave since they also had to pack. I'm honestly really bummed out right now that I had to leave my area. We have 4 baptisms coming up this week in Carti Tupile and I'm pretty bummed I'm not going to be there. O well..I did my part and the Lord has called me to a new place. Well..I guess Ill give a brief overview of this past week. As are all weeks in San Blas it was awesome. We continued traveling from island to island in our cayuco (boat) and teaching all our investigators. We had a really good week number wise and have a ton of investigators. Carti Tupile is about to blow up with baptisms from all the different people we've been visiting. This week we visited a less active member and had a really good lesson with him. We shared some good scriptures and he came to church this week. We also had our 71 year old investigator named Ramon in church. His baptism is planned this upcoming Saturday. We visited a new island this week called Nalu Nega. Its an island about 20 min by boat from Carti tupile. Me and my companion Elder Ricks have been doing what I like to call "proganda Blitzkrieges." Since many people from the city and from Carti tupile come into these islands to visit family, they often spend a lot of time with little to do. We figured..on these islands where people have very little we would bring a lot of pamphlets with the lessons in them and pictures of Christ with the church name on it. That way people can get a little familiarized or get to know a little about our church. Kind of like a long term investment or planting seeds. We had a TON of pamphlets and pictures in our house and it would be a lot better with those people than collecting dust in our home. Nalu Nega was a beautiful small island and it was really cool to go and see it. Even got to go visit and teach a less active family. The best part is that we went over there with a group of members that wanted to go play basketball on their small court so it didn't cost us any money. On our way coming back from the island we saw a wild pack of dolphins. the driver of the boat started doing circles around them and they started following the boat and jumping out o f the boat. That was really cool. I've been experimenting a lot with cooking lately in the mission. Fun fact..pancake mix makes good breading for frying fish and chicken. Coating peanut butter on chicken then deep frying it is also really good. Crispy on outside and juicy on the inside. Now I need to learn how to cook healthier meals. haha! I have more resources now. We were lucky if we got tomatoes and cucumbers sometimes. I spent Sunday saying bye to everyone! That was really sad. My cousin Madison talked about change in one of her previous messages while leaving her previous area. I agree with all she said. Though change is difficult its necessary to make us stronger. I love the Kuna people and will really miss it. However, I'm grateful to say that I worked hard and did everything I could to help the areas where I was. Now I'm getting more responsibility than I've ever had during the mission and will surely be asking guide for help and guidance as take on these new responsibilities. As normal, Ill put me trust in the lord, admit my weaknesses, and do all that I can to help this church grow and spread this gospel. I love you all so much and hope all of you have a good week. thank you all for your love and support.
